Call for Papers
The Nebraska APCO/NENA Conference Committee is seeking breakout session proposals for presentations for the 2023 conference taking place October 11-12, 2023 at the Ramada by Wyndham Columbus Hotel & Conference Center 265 33rd Ave, Columbus NE.
This Call for Papers invites all APCO & NENA members, industry associates, business professionals and
educators to submit a written proposal for a presentation, workshop or panel discussion. Interested
instructors are required to complete and submit the attached form and a photo of the presenter(s).

Presenter Guidelines and Submission Requirements:
- Sessions are 1 hour and 15 minutes in duration to allow for questions.
- Presenters are responsible for all travel costs unless otherwise specified in the call for papers and approved by the NE APCO-NENA Chapter.
- Presenters are given complimentary full conference registration to attend all or any part of the conference that may be of interest, including meals.
- One co-presenter per session qualifies for a 50% discount on conference registration.
- Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop computers. A projector, screen, sound system and microphone, (if warranted) is provided in each break out room. If you have any specific needs other than those mentioned, please notify the Educational Session Selection Committee Chair(s).
- Submissions must include a personal photo, contact information and a brief biography of the speaker(s) and co-presenters (limit of 3 co-presenters).
- Biographies must be 70 words or less and written in third person. Information should be written in the fashion it would appear in the Conference Program Guide.
- All submissions must be made electronically via the online submission process and the submission form must be completed in its entirety. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation, your proposal was not properly submitted or received. If you have questions regarding whether the proposal was submitted and accepted you must contact the chair and/or co-chair prior to the deadline of July 13th, 2023 at 5pm CST.
